The goal for the Kent Project was to transform an outdated and rundown space into something elevated and sophisticated with a focus on effortless functionality and timeless design. This full renovation project included the re-design of the kitchen, bathrooms, custom joinery and furniture curation. The use of materials like herringbone timber flooring, marble, fluted panelling and brass adds such a rich texture and depth to the space. These elements give the home a sense of luxury while still feeling welcoming and livable. The monochromatic palette with subtle blue accents reflects the client’s preferences and provided the perfect backdrop for the interior to feel fresh and contemporary while allowing the design to stand the test of time.
This project was a full renovation. The family required more room so a significant extension was carried out whilst updating the home to a style that was contemporary yet timeless.
This couple loves to entertain and with their three children it was time to re-design the kitchen including a butler’s pantry. The kitchen was to be more effective for both daily use and when there was a crowd. The large kitchen dominated the project and therefore set the tone for the rest of the house including the bathrooms and custom joinery throughout.
To complete this project a detailed curated furniture, lighting and artwork selection was carried out offering a cohesive and streamline aesthetic for the entire home.
This was a full interior design service, where I was engaged to completely reimagine the apartment and transform it into a light, serene retreat from city life. The original layout felt boxed in with outdated finishes, a disconnected kitchen, and limited storage. Walls were removed to create better flow between the kitchen, bar and dining area, while the bathrooms were completely reconfigured for a more practical, streamlined layout. A built-in laundry was also integrated for added functionality. The bedrooms were designed to feel cocoon-like and restorative, featuring luxurious wool carpets underfoot and custom-designed headboards. Clever storage solutions and soft layering brought both form and function to these spaces — elevating comfort without compromising on practicality. Every surface was considered — from new flooring and a refined paint scheme to curated furniture and thoughtful styling. The brief called for the elegance and luxury of a hotel, balanced with the warmth and comfort of home.
I was engaged on the Macquarie Project during the construction stage, being a new build allowed the project to be delivered with absolute consideration and intention. The clients were busy professionals with three children and they reached out to PTI because they were time poor and extremely overwhelmed with the entire design process.
With the architecture of the home being sleek and streamline the objective for the interior was to be soft, inviting and provide a sense of visual warmth without the clutter. This was achieved with a beautiful backdrop of sheer curtains, curved elements and contrasting layered textures whilst a gentle play on colour.
The end result a very serene and practical living environment that enhances this active family’s lifestyle.
Shortly after moving in the client said "It just feels like home, we love it”. For a new build I guess it’s safe to say we met the brief!
This project was all about giving a tired primary bedroom the care and attention it deserved. My client’s style leaned towards contemporary elegance but her brief was clear: the room needed to feel calming and grounded, not overly pretty. It was to be a true retreat a space to switch off and unwind. The concept centred around balancing masculine and feminine elements, creating a space that felt both refined and relaxed. We kept the palette neutral with gentle touches of colour sage green and ochre added depth without overpowering. Texture played a key role, layered thoughtfully throughout to bring warmth and quiet interest. The scope included furniture curation including custom pieces along with wallpaper, soft and elegant window treatments, artwork and styling accessories. The result is a beautifully harmonious space — soothing and inviting, yet rich in detail and visual balance.
Having previously worked with this client on their suburban home, they engaged my services again when they had purchased their city apartment. The brief for this project was one of a relaxed elegance that provided a serene retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. From an empty shell we treated the floors, walls and everything in between. By layering this apartment with soft curves, a play on textures and introduced finishes to provide a lux level of sophistication it became the perfect retreat.
This family had bought a new property and were keen to transform the house that was more suited to their personal style and more importantly their lifestyle.
PTI was engaged to design the main living and dining areas including the alfresco area. The approach was to create a tailored and timeless home that functioned with ease. With the introduction of complimenting textures the home providing a sense of warmth. With a key focus on a custom joinery and curated furniture selections the end result was an inviting home that was both beautiful and practical.
When Tony and Rosetta came to me, they were needing some inspiration and support with infusing a fresh new look into their family home. It was tired, lived in, full of family memories and precious moments, but it had been over 20 years since it had undergone any renovation. The couple's three children were now all young adults and their style had considerably evolved...
